Banana Island is one of the main attractions in Sierra leone. A tropical paradise, a heaven of tranquility only 40km away from Freetown. The alteration of rocks and sandy beaches provides shelter to a wide range of tropical fish which is easy to spot. Sunbathing is enjoyed by all visitors and it is not unusual to have the whole beach for yourself. Apart from the water activities the virgin forest on the hills of the island hold good numbers of wild animals and particularly birds. Tourist infrastructure exists only in the Northern part of the island. Visitors can contact  Mr Dalton +23276278120  to arrange a boat transfer from Kent. The road is paved all the way from Freetown
